Elisaveta Stoitseva
Lizzy first heard of Josiah Venture (JV) and its ministry in Central and Eastern Europe at a training conference in 2016, and she was captivated by their vision for reaching young people. That’s where she first felt called to join the movement in Bulgaria.
Lizzy was hurt as a young teenager because she wasn’t accepted by the older generation of youth. She didn’t know how God was working in her life then, but he was somehow using that experience to give her passion for investing in the new generation of young believers and youth. She also wanted to make sure they wouldn’t have the same experience of being rejected, but feel welcomed, loved, and looked after.
It has been a burning desire in her heart to see many lost young people come to Christ, be mentored, and grow in their relationship with Jesus; and then be actively involved in spreading the gospel and building God’s Kingdom.
Lizzy served in her denomination as a volunteer coordinator for over ten years as part of a team that facilitates youth retreats and mentors youth from across several different Bulgarian churches.
Lizzy has been serving in JV’s Bulgarian national organization since 2019 as the Executive Assistant and Financial and Operations Coordinator, where she diligently cares for the details of finances, administrative duties, special projects, and national event, which serve youth leaders, churches, and youth all across Bulgaria.
