After 12 years of growing up in the same church, Samuel and Markéta started dating in 2017. Two years later, they got married and in the same year (just after finishing highschool), Samuel started to work for the IT department of Josiah Venture (JV). In 2023, Samuel finished his bachelor's degree in IT. In the same year, Markéta was offered the opportunity to join JV, and she started to work on the Media Library project. They are living in Jihlava in the central region of of the Czech Republic.
They are serving all of the countries where JV serves. Samuel is developing mobile apps and web apps that help JV missionaries to share the gospel, lead small groups, share prayer needs, and effectively communicate with local churches and youth leaders. Markéta is working on creating a media library of Dave Patty's talks, seminars, and teaching series. She helps to put the media library content into a mobile application called “Grow with God,” which helps individuals to grow spiritually and is a great tool for small groups.
Their hearts burn for the spiritual growth of young people, so they are very involved in their local church, serving in Fusion and leading their annual youth conference. They are also part of the worship team, small groups, and church leadership team.
