Tyler & Lara Patty
Judah, Asher and Simeon
Tyler and Lara met and married while studying in Chicago and connected over a shared calling to missions. After getting married, God began to nurture in them a deep love for the Czech people and the Church. Upon finishing their graduate studies, the Pattys moved to the Czech Republic as missionaries in 2018.
Tyler and Lara desire to see emerging leaders trained and released to participate in God's mission in Central and Eastern Europe. They serve on the International Team and lead European-wide initiatives in theological education. In 2019, they launched the European campus of ForMission College, which offers an accredited B.A. degree in Theology, Mission, and Ministry. Through this, they are equipping emerging leaders across Central and Eastern Europe to be effective ministers of the gospel. They also serve in their local church in Havirov through teaching and hospitality.
Tyler and Lara have three sons, Judah (b. 2015), Asher (b. 2017), and Simeon (b. 2020).
