Claire Stamper
Claire first came to Hungary in the fall of 2019 and spent three years in Budapest pioneering a university student ministry with The Navigators. She was moved by the spiritual hunger of the young people there, their openness to the gospel, and how few believers there were around to model a life of faith in Christ to them. God gave her a deep love for the Hungarian people and passion to return to ministry there, especially after watching her friend Dóri’s life transformed by Jesus. She is in the process of joining the Josiah Venture team in Hungary, eagerly anticipating being on the field by summer 2025. Along with learning the language, she is looking forward to serving a youth group as a part of a church in Budapest and helping to meet the needs of this young pioneering team. Claire is excited to see the lives of Hungarian youth transformed by the gospel.
